Aéroport de Montréal (Montreal, Quebec)
Project:
Relocation of transborder departures Lot 205-1 - Interior facilities PHASE II
Value:
6 800 000,00 $
Description:
The redesign and refurbishment of the US departure terminal at Montreal Trudeau International Airport precluded the need to relocate the existing administrative infrastructure to a new location. OPRON CONSTRUCTION INC was responsible for the “patchwork” contract for the entire site. That is, once major works were completed in various areas, our mandate was to complete any and all outstanding works for the project. The primary challenge of this 6.8 million-dollar project was the need to be mobile within a secured environment, working in several different locations, while maintaining an efficient work pace in order to meet the client’s demands on time. This required outstanding cooperation with ADM authorities as well as inhibited coordination with numerous other contractors and sub-contractors onsite. Moreover, with additional tasks and change orders issued regularly by the client, it was imperative for OPRON CONSTRCUTION INC to remain agile and adaptable to the changing and expanding needs of the ADM. The project was completed before the end of 2009.
